O PNR e as Legislativas 2009
O PNR, nas Eleições Legislativas de 27 de Setembro obteve 11.614 votos (não estando ainda contados os votos da emigração), o que não sendo um resultado negativo, dadas as circunstâncias, está, na verdade, ainda longe do nível que desejamos . Porém, se a luta do PNR e da Oposição Nacional não se esgota nas eleições, não deixa de ser importante tirar lições dos resultados com a maior objectividade. Analisemos então os factos:
O único sítio onde Sucesso aparece antes de Trabalho é no Dicionário. Na vida real e na política é necessário um trabalho aturado e persistente para se lograr alcançar vitórias. É esse trabalho que vai preparar os nossas futuros sucessos. Se estamos quase como no início, é porque ainda estamos no início.
As comparações possíveis resultam da confrontação directa com os resultados das Legislativas de 2005, verificando-se que continuamos a subir sustentadamente.
Estes dados, não obstante as várias abordagens possíveis de análise, indicam que:
- Temos uma votação consolidada, superior a 10.000 pessoas, que um pouco por todo o país não abdicam de votar no PNR sem esperarem vitórias ou derrotas. Votam porque acreditam e querem que cresça a "Chama". Trata-se de um voto consciente, firme e determinado, inabalável e fiel, que é um sinal bem contrário ao de outros pequenos partidos que, com muito mais meios financeiros sofreram erosões absolutamente avassaladoras;
- O processo burocrático e legal, pesado e arcaico, prejudica os pequenos partidos e pode inclusivamente favorecer a má vontade como a que se verificou com a rejeição da nossa lista de Setúbal que representa para o PNR um dano ímpar, já que se trata do nosso segundo círculo mais forte. Outros 4 partidos com escassas estruturas viram-se também arredados da participação em outros círculos eleitorais. Contudo, importa esclarecer que a nossa lista por Setúbal não continha qualquer irregularidade pois a única "irregularidade" apontada pelo Tribunal da Comarca, indicava a falta de um documento que na verdade se encontra comprovadamente no Processo. Pese embora o facto de termos toda a razão, isso não invalidou que a teia burocrático-legal, de malha apertada e tortuosa, tivesse vencido aquela que era a matéria de facto: a lista do PNR estava perfeita! A eliminação da lista, ditada pela insensibilidade do sistema lesou gravemente o PNR, defraudou os esforços por nós empreendidos e feriu de morte as nossas expectativas;
- A teimosia cega do chamado «voto útil», explicitamente assumido e confessado por parte de inúmeras pessoas, desvia votos que são nossos por natureza, para formações políticas que os não merecem. Face a esta mentalidade reinante, irresponsável e sem pinga de respeito pela luta de uns quantos, torna-se muito difícil e moroso quebrar o círculo vicioso;
- A falta de visibilidade, por manifesta escassez de meios humanos e materiais, impede que o conhecimento do partido e da sua mensagem chegue á maioria dos portugueses. A verdade é esta e percebemo-la nas ruas: os portugueses não nos conhecem! Se não conhecem não podem votar...
Face a isto, o PNR ainda não registou a subida tão desejada e que corresponde aos anseios de tantos portugueses. Uma certeza porém nos orienta: nunca desistiremos do combate!
Continuemos a semear que os frutos hão-de vir. Continuemos a lutar até à vitória!

PNR - Oposição Nacional!
O partido quer o encerramento de fronteiras e que se fomentem políticas que levem ao nascimento de mais cidadãos portugueses para fazer frente à queda demográfica que se regista em Portugal.
"Não é favor nenhum um Estado apoiar a família. Não está a fazer nenhum favor às mães donas-de-casa, às famílias que querem ter mais do que um só filho. Não é um favor, é uma necessidade. É um imperativo. É um investimento. O Estado serve mesmo para isso" – salientou José Pinto Coelho, dirigente do PNR.
Em entrevista à jornalista Raquel Abecasis, Pinto Coelho assumiu-se "contra todos os partidos que existem". "Nós queremos dar corpo a uma coisa que é a grande oposição nacional e opomo-nos a este sistema de partidos que mais parece uma rede totalitária de compadrios".
Sobre a imigração, tema muito "caro" ao Partido Nacional Renovador, Pinto Coelho considera "assustadora" a substituição demográfica de portugueses por imigrantes.

Sarah Pallin

Answering John Eipper’s call for European perspectives on SP, I viewed her speech.
From 00.00 SP until 9:58, amid roars of applause, SP elaborates family values and presents her dear ones in a very moving way. She has a “celebrity” touch and she is emotionally persuasive. This mix of public and private issues is not palatable in any European nation, both for good and bad motives. So much family awareness would be misconstrued as a bridge to nepotism and “special interests” or protecting a dysfunctional family. On the other way, the energy she gets from family life is obvious and attuned to what is current in peripheral US regions.
14: 15 Attack on Obama as unqualified. Obama is about words. McCain is about deeds. This rethoric is useful but it may develop a blowback. SP has good words “for the common good”, and “against special interests”. Yet, a VP has much less executive power than the Governor of Alaska and no use for “veto powers”. Or is she considering the possibility of being President, just in case?
22:35. After a reference to “dangerous Foreign Powers” she (or the neocon text writer) absolutely misrepresented the latest crisis. “Russia wanted to intimidate Europe”; “Europe is at the mercy of foreign supplies”. In fact Russia is much more dependent upon UE machinery than UE is on Russian natural gas and oil, with the exception of Germany. She had not a single word for South America, Asia, and Africa. She is obviously ignorant on foreign policy.
She is immensely energetic, in all possible senses of the word, from supporting “drill” to being unbalanced. The sound-bite “The difference between a Hockey Mum and a Pit Bull is lipstick”. It sounds good for local politics. If you are behind McCain, it is an awful sound-bite. You would entrust her your dog, a babycare system, town government and, of course, Alaska; nuclear weapons, never. That said, and considering the contempt for current politicians, I think she will gain votes for the RP. Wolf Blitzer said that, exceptionally, her speech had 42 million viewers. I agree with Michael Sullivan that SP “electrifies people”; for the time being, not in the electric chair.
I have not yet seen Mc Cain’s speech but one thing is obvious. He will get votes by being presented as a moderate “patriot”, not a “nationalist”, which is the European profile of Sarah Pallin. Good electoral tactics!
